Ivory Or White

White no real reason

Ivory - because I like it better on me.

Ivory, b/c my FH wanted to wear a completely diff. Color than his GM. He suggested white. We comprosmised and decided on ivory. I like it better anyway. Looks better with my fair skin.

I am also wearing an ivory dress with a hint of a wine color..no real reason except that the dress only came in ivory

In photographs, most ivory dresses look white anyway.

I chose ivory because I liked the dress itself. However, I wish I had worn white. A first wedding is the really the only time a woman can wear a formal, white wedding gown. And I never did. A little regret there I must admit.

I wore ivory because it looked best with my skin tones.

I do not know a fair skinned person that would look good in Ivory. Ivory looks like an Old dress. White looks fresh and new.

Ivory looks like an old dress huh (smile)! Yeah , okay, if you say so (LOL)! Have you ever seen any of Maggie Sottero gowns or some of the other designers? Perhaps not. Perhaps you may like to check out these "old dresses"? They may suprise you!

I doubt you could even pick out an ivory dress unless a white one is right next to it. And how do you know I`m fair skinned?

Yes, I am a southern girl who tends to use yall quite a bit! I am from Biloxi, MS.

I chose ivory because it looked better with my fair skin and red hair. I don`t wear anything white if I can help it anyway. As for ivory and white looking the same in photos, it sort of does, but you can definately see the difference with skin tones. I tried on several dresses in white and ivory and took photos to make my decision later. The white ones made me look sick and the ivory made me look creamy and rosy cheeked

I wore an ivory dress due to the fact that I had a double wedding and the other bride was wearing ivory. The photographer told us that ivory would look dingy up next to white in the pictures. So we even had the guys wear ivory shirts under their tuxedos.
