MAGGIE SOTTERO DRESSES ON LINE
I am thinking of buying my maggie sottero dress from the bridal store "tamara`s" in the USA.
Can anyone with the experience of buying their wedding dress from the USA and importing to the UK please get in touch wiht me as I would like to know how they got on, and if their Maggie dress was the genuine article (in particular I would be interested to hear from other UK residents who purchased their dress from Tamara`s.

I am writting this in response to the comment about the "markup" on bridal gowns.....how many of you know the "markup" on your engagement ring? It is between 300 and 500% of the jewelers cost. A 500% "markup" is standard on furniture. "Keystone" is the term for general cost of doing business and anything you purchase will be a minimum of "keystone" markup......otherwise businesses wouldn`t be able to pay their bills and overhead and be there to service their customers. Small businesses provide jobs and incomes for thousands of people in this country and work very hard to compete with the internet and "big box" stores to provide you with exactly what your looking for on your wedding day. For those of you who think bridal stores rip off their customers please give some thought to how hard it is to be in business in this economy and how hard these folks work to make sure you have the most beautiful gown for your special day.
