NO I just think its very unfair I have worked 2 jobs and I am very proud of us and to see these posts it angers me because I am a 26 year old with no money I did it 4months ahead of time. I just think gosh if I can do it why cant these people? And it really makes me mad to see them asking for money when they have kids what thats all about? I pride myself for not having kids before marriage--not that there is anything wrong with it--but I am the only one of 10 girls who dont have kids out of wedlock. I just think if you have kids already you should have a small romantic wedding with close friends and family everyone know you have expenses so you are not expected to have a big wedding. And why on earth would someone want to sponser when there are so many cost saving ideas. I just think that the feeling of doing it on our own just pure bliss knowing we can work as a team when we see something we want we work at it to get. And it reminds me of how much we love each other. JMO. Thanks for hearing me out.

NO!!!! I am so tired of seeing the same posts about sponsoring weddings. It`s annoying.

A definite hell - NO! i got engaged in 2003 when my fiance was still completeing his final year of residency so we weren`t making rockstar dollars at the time. We had to WAIT & SAVE money for my dream cinderella wedding just like other brides on this site so if they want money, they should wait & save instead of shamelessly begging for a wedding they can`t afford. Sorry if my tone offends anyone, but i`m just sick and tired of hearing the sob stories. Get a job and have some pride!

I`m surprised some of you found someone to deal with your harsh attitude. WHO MARRIED YOU? Sponsered weddings have been advertised quite a bit on television, hence the popularity of the idea. I bet a sponsered wedding that none of you would have the balls to say in person what you type here.

My answer is YES!!!!
If someone wants to go to a bussiness and ask for sponsership then so be it. Its up to that company to say yes or no.... Not to a bunch of faceless snobs on a wed site.

I would have to agree with all of the "No" answers. As a law student (just finishing my first year) and my fiancee about to start a PhD program, we know what it is like not to have a lot of money. However, we have worked hard for a year to watch for what we wanted to come on sale, have found compromises that don`t cost as much, and frankly have cherished having only family and close friends instead of the entire city. I think that if you have to resort to having someone sponsor your wedding, perhaps you should just get married at the courthouse and have a big wedding on your 1 or 5 year anniversary. I know several couples who have done that and it was truly magical for them!

I`m assuming you didn`t wait for marriage for the sex or you would`ve been posting about your virginity too. Don`t get off the subject. This thread is about freeloaders asking for sponsorships. I don`t care if she`s got 30 kids out of wedlock or not, she`s not the one asking for the sponsorships!!!!! Get with it girl!!

Instead of worrying about the way I`ll raise my children, what you need to do is talk to your mother about finishing to raise you. Maybe if she had thought you manners or to be respectful of other people it wouldn’t upset you so that I`m not getting enraged over your immaturity.
