PAGE BOY

I have a Ring Bearer.. And the other little guy is a Page Boy.

But... What does he carry?

Anything?

He doesn`t have to carry anything. He can walk down the aisle with the flower girl. See if you can find pictures or an article about Sophie Rhys Jones marriage to Prince Edward - she had two young bridesmaids (five and seven years old) and two young "page boys" who walked down the aisle.

The page boy just would walk down the aisle, just as a bridesmaid or groomsman would. And then he would stand up (if he is old enough) when the couple recite their vows. Or if he is younger than say, ten, he would probably just take a seat on the front row during the ceremony.

The true purpose of a page boy is to carry or hold the brides train as she walks down the aisle. They are generally only part of a ceremony if a bride has a long cathedral length veil. I think usually there are two who hold up the end of the train as the bride walks down the aisle.
