Pay The Pastor

Not really sure what the going rate is mine was included in the package but they did a break down of everything included and he was $125.

Our priest charged $75 for his time and $50 for the use of the church. It was also recommended to us that it would be nice if we "tipped" our priest for the classes and meetings we had with him.

We are paying our pastor $275 this includes planning, rehearsal, and the wedding day.

We`re paying $150, the first pastor we asked said $300, and everyone talked us out of it as it is waaay to much. I honestly think that religious leaders should conduct wedding ceremonies for free (with a donation from the bride and groom to cover transport, paperwork, meetings and things like that) but unless you are a member of their church, they generally charge around $100-150

My FH and I are not religious and don`t belong to a church so we used a service in our area for the minister. The charge is $175 for the ceremony and $50 for the rehersal. My Question is, are we supposed to tip him as well?
