Stupid Question From A Groom To Be

Don`t feel to stupid, but in most cases no a bride does not plan her wedding around her period. Due to the fact that most wedding dates are set way in advance and most women can`t pinpoint their cycle to the exact day. Keep in mind even if your future wife is regular as clockwork stress can effect a woman`s cycle and we all know how stressfull a wedding can be. You`ll just have to cross your fingers and hope for the best.

I have to admit I did hehe, but I am not on the pill so who knows by the time Oct comes around I hope I am not on it I am going on a cruise right after!

I did! or at least tried to... Im going to be stressed out enough as it is.... :)

I`m getting married in November, and instead of trying to plan my wedding around my period, I`ve just decided to go on the pill the month before, and then if my period is due around my wedding, I can skip it.

I have looked at the health issues involved with this, but my doctor says that there is no harm in skipping once as long as you don`t skip every month and don`t skip more than once in a row. (don`t skip, more often than you skip)

Does this sound okay? I`ve never done it before, so I guess I`m just looking for some feedback.

I would go on the pill like 2 or 3 months in advance..that way your period can adjust and become regular to your birth control.

I`ve skipped my peirod once for vacation..and it was fine...it was alittle scary not getting a period :) But i plan on skipping it again for our Aug wedding!

I tried skipping once, and while I didn`t have my period at that time, I spotted for the rest of the month. It totally sucked. I would recommend doing a trial before to see if this happens to you, because I have talked to others that it happenned to...
