I am planning a January 2005 wedding and I was thinking of periwinkle and silver as the colors. Has anyone ever seen a wedding in these colors and if so, do you have any photos - especially of the floral arrangements.

That is so ironic, just over the weekend I went to a local rental warehouse and they gave me the idea of clear vases with cellophane that looked like ice. She also recommended adding partylytes to the water to add a beautiful effect on the "ice." I was also thinking about doing birch around the room with possibly blue lights (since my colors are blue, white, and silver) I would love to hear more of your ideas...please respond!

If you go to Yahoo.com or MSN.com and type in "create a bride`s romantic winder wedding day" without the quotations you will get a list of sites with articles that can help you all plan your winter wedding.

Good luck!!

Hi. Not sure if you`re still reading messages from this board, but I am interested in knowing which vendors you used for your wedding and where you ordered you bridesmaids dresses from.
Please e-mail me at tai@canetravel.com
Thanks.

Hi
My hubby and I have been engaged for 3 glorious years (yeah right!!!) and we have finally set a date to walk down the isle which is going to be on the 16th December 2006. Every time I tell people December I get the same feedback.......`Why in the Winter` whilst pulling that face that looks as though they have been slapped hard ha ha. Ever since I was a little girl it has been my dream to get married in the Winter, especially the Christmas month. However, now I have to start organising everything I have no idea where to start. The one thing I can`t make my mind up about is my dress which I thought would have been the easiest. I did want a white dress with a velvet cloak or something along those lines. Any help out there?????? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Karli

Congratulations on your engagement. To start planning you need to decide type of wedding, number of guest, formality, theme or color scheme etc. If you give me your e-mail address I can give you links for articles, invitations and accessories. I can also help you come up with ideas for your special day.

I saw your message and even though its been a while since you had your wedding, do you still have any of the winter theme pictures you spoke about? I am getting married in Dec 05 and I really need some ideas. Anything would be appreciated! Thank you

Ms. Kendall,
That is so crazy! I am getting married on Dec. 17, 2005. I have came up with a few ideas for my snowflake themed wedding. My flower girl is throwing snow instead of flowers. For my favors I am giving everyone a snowflake ornament. I am also renting a snow machine. Let me know if you have any and how your planning is going. Andrea_glnn@yahoo.com
