Wedding Anouncments

I am having a small wedding with only close family members attending should I still send anouncments out to friends and other family members?

I would think so. Most people would want an announcment even if they aren`t invited to the wedding. They wouldn`t have to be anything fancy, just simple cards that you can print from a computer.
