WHERE SHOULD THE BABY SHOWER BE HELD?
I`m helping give a baby shower for a good friend. There are eleven of us giving the shower. Although there are several among us with nice homes and willing to hold the shower at
Their homes, the concensus of the group is to hold the shower at the expectant mother`s home. Even though a cleaning service will be hired by the group to clean the expectant mother`s house before the shower and the expectant mother does not object, I don`t feel right about having the shower at the expectant mother`s home. What do you think?

I had my baby shower at my house. I think considering the circumstances, there is nothing wrong with it. It would be much more convenient (sorry can`t spell) for the mommy-to-be. It would save her from having to take all of teh items from one place to another, especially the bigger heavier items.
If she is ok with it, I say go for it.

Having had 4 baby showers, I can tell you that the easiest, by far was the one held at my house. Just make sure you all pitch in with the removal of trash ( i.e. Th stroller box,ha-ha). That way the most the expectant mommy has to do is put everything in the nursery. Remember, she is the irritable guest of honor, so pamper her on this special day.
