Sylvia MacDonald Wedded Rodney Morhart
Sylvia MacDonald was wed to Rodney Morhart, on Valentines Day of 2004. Valentines Day marked the 10 year anniversary of their first date. They had a quiet ceremony with about 30 friends and immediate family, and then a larger reception of about 130 guests. The reception was decorated in romantic red and white valentines decoration, with hearts and cupids everywhere. The Wedding party walked through a huge wedding heart archwaydecorated with lights and tulle. The tables were decorated in gelled candles in martini glasses with mini hearts. It was beautiful. The bride wore a beautiful gown of white, and it was the perfect dress and it was accentuated with her grandmothers pearls and she carried a bouquet of red and white roses, that her mom made her. Her hair was swept up into curls on her head with miniature red and white roses in her hair. Her mother walked her down the aisle to her awaiting husband to be. The bride had her best friend Mel, stand with her, and Rod had his good friend, Glen stand with him. The couple had their 7 year old twins Riley and Chelsea as flowergirl and Ringbearer. Chelsea was dressed just like her mom in a white dress and hair swept up (she is a mini sylvia), and Riley wore a miniature tux like his dad`s. (They were so darling) The ceremony was very touching and moving, because this close knit family was brought together by marriage. They are soulmates and the love is so evident. Humor was brought out in the ceremony by Glen, the best man as he handed Rod the rings in a plastic gum ball container. Humor is a huge part in Rod and Sylvia`s lives.
After the ceremony, Rod surprized Sylvia with a limosine that took the wedding party out for a tour of Moose Jaw, while the reception guests arrived. The whole day ran so smoothly and it was a beautiful day. The couple will enjoy the rest of their lives together with their 2 beautiful children, and their little dog Oreo.
