75th Anniversery

My great grand parents are having their 75th wedding anniversary in December. I'm not really very close to them because they live really far away, but they are my great grand parents and I am stumped at what in the world to get them. I want to get them something they can enjoy and not something that will be thrown in a closet and forgotten. They are both in their 90's. Any help would be great!

Ady,

if possible...maybe try to find an exclusive restaurant in their area and get them a gift certificate for a romantic dinner for two to celebrate...Maybe get other family members to pitch in.....just a thought:)

Adrianne,

Now, this may sound completely corny, but just keep an open mind. For my Seta's (My mother's mother) 70th birthday all of her children and grandchildren wrote her a letter. They ranged from unbelievably funny to very sentimental and she is STILL telling everyone about them to this day. When I wrote mine, I actually had it framed and sent it to her that way so she could never lose it *haha* I basically wrote and told her how special she is to me and thanked her for all the things that, over my 23 years, she has done for me. Then I threw in some funny stories about some things that I had done as a kid that she NEVER seems to forget. It doesn't have to be very long... it just has to be from the heart. And I know they will appreciate it :-)
