Pinata At Reception

I was just at a wedding and instead of having a candy toss for the kids (the equivalent of a bouquet toss) they had the kids take turns hitting a heart shaped pinata (that had their names and date painted on it). It was such a cute idea and all the kids had a lot of fun hitting it!

Wow, that was a really good idea. Since our younger guest will have a "reception" room for themselves ( except to eat) I am going to have plenty to do for them so they don`t get bored. I would never have thought of that. We are going to have an ice cream maker and a cotton candy maker. Since we are getting married in October, I am thinking of having a little Halloween party theme for them!

I love pinatas. You can find them at a lot of Mexican grocery stores, or the Mexican areas of town. I think its a cute idea. They also add a lot of color and festivity to a wedding or any other party.
