Where Do I Get A Passport

You can get passports at Post Offices and courthouses. Check with the post office first as usually only the larger branches can do it. You also need to have your passport picture taken first. I had mine done at AAA and I`m not a member. The passport cost about $100 including the picture and I don`t remember for sure but I think at least 4 weeks. Do it now to be on the safe side.

Do I need my Birth Cerft? Can I get the pic at the post office? Or do I go to Walgreens(drug store) I see ad saying get your passport here do they mean just the picture? Thanks!

Remember not all post offices offer this service, so be sure to call first. Also, your local clerk of court office should be able to process a passport application. You can obtain the application online and I recommend doing this so that you`re prepared when you go in as there may be a wait. You will need to bring with you your driver`s license, birth certficate (must have the raised seal on it) and I believe your social security card.

I just got mine. Best to get picture taken where ever it says passport pictures. You don`t staple the pictures to passport they do. It takes up to 90 days to get your passport. Birth certificate and two pieces of ID one being your drivers license is correct BOTH HAVE TO HAVE YOUR PICTURE. You can also download the form off the computer and fill out before hand. But bring every piece of what you print with you or you will have to fill it out all over again at the Post Office. Also pass port part of Post Offices closes before the Post Office does around 4PM.

Could I get away with my birth cert. Only? I am going on a cruise out of Galveston to Yuctan Cozamel and Belize. If my address is wrong on my drivers lisc. Do I need to change before I leave? Thanks so much.
