Question: About My Flowers?

I got a quote for my flowers and I would like to know if I am getting a good deal or if I could save in some areas. Opinions are welcome.
2 for gerber all white in a ball
3 gerber white with pink tipped in a ball on a string
8 gerber daisy boutonniers
3 corrages
373.20 with tax
What do yall think good deal?

I think you could make your own for a whole lot cheaper!!! But, if you don`t want the added stress, just call a few more florist and get quotes for the same, then go with whoever is cheapest. But I would be sure to check out their work first.

No, its not. I paid that amount for far more flowers - including my own bouquet. My advice is, look around some more and get some other price quotes.

Just a little guideline........
Bouts should run you around $7-$13 each, depending on your area and flower.
Corsages can usually be found for about $10-$25 dollars, again depending on your area and flower types as well as how many flowers.

Hope this helps.

I would definitely shop around. I am getting my gerbers from a wholesaler/friend for pretty cheap. Walmart.com sells them in bulk for less than $1 per flower.

The rest you are paying is just markup for the arranging into bouquets and corsages and the arranging materials. You can find guides on-line or in craft stores to teach you how to arrange them yourself. Since you aren`t getting that many pieces it shouldn`t be too bad.

I think a lot of florists would do these flowers for much less. Gerbera daisies should not be very expensive at all. I paid around 3 dollars for my boutonieeres, which were carnations.

My bout. Are $7 a piece. I am having them do a sample for me so I can see this is my lowest quote so far. The other was for 650. Thanks for the advice!
