VIRUS WARNING

DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS FROM PARTYPOP:

I recieved 2 emails from partypop.com this morning...one was in response to a question I had asked and the other was an email containing a Virus called Happy99. I do NOT think partypop had anything to do with the mailing at all. The virus is know to auto-email everyone on your email list once it is introduced to your computer. So this will probably go out to everyone who is a member of Party Pop.

I just wanted to warn everyone...Do a virus scan of your whole system.

Mine is still scanning ...hopefully I caught it quick enough.

I know about this particular virus, and do not think that it came directly from PartyPop, although it did show as coming from a partpop e-mail addy. I believe that someone has "masked" party pops e-mail address and then sent out the virus. Another option is that someone has infected partypop with the virus, and it has automatically sent out to everyone on their members list. The latter would probably be what has happened. Either way, you SHOULD NOT open any attachments from party pop!!!!
