Looking For Ideas For My Small Beach Wedding
I`m looking for ideas for our small beach wedding in September. We have rented a house on the beach, so we will have the ceremony at the beach and then go back to the house for our "reception". I am looking for alternatives to the birdseed and also any other suggestions you may have.
Also, my mother and his sister are deceased and we are looking for a unique and subtle way to honor their memory. Thank you for any help.

Here are some ideas: Instead of rice I am using spraklers (if yours is at night like mine) or bubbles(outside will look cool) Go to the beach and pick seashells and use a place cards for the tables, or as decoration, wear flip flops instead of shoes, have a island theme have guest wear those shirts. As far as the family deceased. My FH lost his dad and stepdad we are having two red roses up front so that guest can see and also have a table with pictures and reading a poem ( dont know the poem minister has the copy) Do a search for beach weddings lots of ideas on the net. My friend is doing a Jamica wedding and thats were we got the ideas. Mine is outside at night at on old bed and breakfast , just wanted to tell you that haha. Have fun and let me know if you need some help.

Thanks Sabrina...
I bet yours will be beautiful at the old bed & breakfast, that should make for gorgeous pictures. I think I`ve got most everything planned, just looking for some "last minute" unique ideas. Thanks for your input.

Having the guests blow bubbles would be cute for a beach wedding. Maybe you could even play "Tiny Bubbles" as your recessional? :) Putting roses on the seats is probably the most tasteful way I`ve seen of honoring the deceased, maybe to put a unique twist on it, you could stop when you get to the front row and take two flowers from your bouquet and put them on the empty seats. Maybe make a note of it in the program, if you have one, so the guests understand the symbolism behind it.
Good luck! I would love to have a beach wedding, but I`m kind of landlocked here in Colorado. :)

Thanks Heidi,
I really like that idea of taking theflowers from my bouquet. We aren`t having programs, but its a small wedding and everyone there would know the meaning behind it. I don`t know what I`d do if I was landlocked...I`ve lived here in Florida my entire life...but I bet it`s beautiful up your way. Thanks again
