Wedding Invitations
Is it proper to put the Groom`s father`s name on the Invitation if he is deceased? His parents had a beautiful marriage and are very important to their son. His mother has been widowed 2 years.
So as to read: Mr. John W. Smith
Son of.
Mr. & Mrs. William S. Smith

I`ve seen wedding invitations that list a deceased parent, they usually place a small cross a little above the deceased parent`s name to signify that they are deceased. If it`s important to you and your fiance go ahead and have the name on the invitation. You have to do what makes both of you happy.
