Leah,

That sounds so nice!!! That's sort of what the poem on the flower bulbs was like.....I just can't remember.
Sounds like things are rollin right along for you guys....I'm so happy for you. Have you found any decorations yet?

I actually did find some centerpieces... this is the description:

Create a gorgeous centerpiece with this 2-light candleholder:
• 2-light candleholder, 10-3/8"H x 5"W, includes: 2 glass globes, each 5"H x 2-3/8" dia.; 2 tea light candles
• Metal scrollwork base entwined by silken blooms
• Inverted bell shape glass globes
• White magnolia with blue posies and verdigris base

And they were only $6.00 each! I wish I could post a picture of them for you to see. If you go to this site...

Then hit [Ctrl] + [F] and do a search for "~Kim" (without the ") then it will take you to a post by Aeryn and I got the idea from her. Then I'm going to use the favor boxes as added table decorations and that should be sufficient.

No but lemme tell you I would love to be a wedding coordinator! I have had such a blast doing this! I think I have made almost everything for my wedding... invitations, save-the-date magnets, favors, candy bar wrappers for the mini Hershey bars... According to my wedding planner I'm already set up until 2 months before the wedding! There are a few little things that still need to be attended to, but I've done nearly everything on a very strict budget. The things that people have seen are getting wonderful compliments and we kind of take pride in having put so many personal touches into everything.

Right now we are working on making custom CD's for the reception. We aren't going to be able to afford a DJ or a Band so we are foregoing the dance part all together, but we are in need of "mingling music." I was able to get a fabulous price on a CD burner from some connections I have through my job and I've been downloading songs from Napster and now I have about 25 songs that all have a "wedding" theme to them that we like... not just a generic compliation!

Thank you for the compliments on the web page... it started out as a very simple page just to keep people updated on what was going on for the wedding (since most of our guests are out-of-towners). People kept asking for more so we just kept adding and now we have nearly 20 pages in there!

I'm glad to see this board has gotten back to party planning!

This is pretty funny...speaking of music. Brian an I have chosen "Sweet Love" by Anita Baker for our wedding song. That's always been our song. But since we got a new one, "Crush" by Dave Matthews. So he said we should pick that one......I swear it goes on for two hours!!!!! We switched it back and decided to have that on during dinner....hahaha

I think that if Kyle and I had to choose a song that would be "our song," it would either be IT'S YOUR LOVE by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw or WHEN I SAID 'I DO' by Clint Black and Lisa Hartman-Black... I don't know if I could choose!

I am thinking of doing Cd's for my wedding too.... My brother has a CD burner and we may do that for everyone if we can afford to at the time. : )

Hey Keri,
If you decide to go ahead and burn all the CD's then let me know... I'll ask "my contact" if he can get them to you for a good price :)
