Read between the lines!!!!!
Well first off I would like to say that while reading the stories of many of you I have found it that you are all special and wonderful in many different ways. And you all have true loving relationships. BUT...Does anyone really understand what this contest is REALLY about. I think there are many of you who should go back and read the promotional guidelines and rules of this contest. This contest is about a unique situation/wedding. (I'm not making this up, it's what the site says!!!) It also says that you are suppose to sell yourself and your idea to them. It says, "CONVINCE US!!, Then describe it to us as completely and persuasively as you can! " I do agree that PartyPOP.com should not have changed the rules at the very last minute and gave the decision to the entire world. Look it what it has done to all of you who are entered into this CONTEST. That's my whole point. This is only a CONTEST. By reading all of the messages posted, it looks like everyone is ganging up on someone, who in my opinion has a very UNIQUE idea (which by the way was the point of this CONTEST). Many of you seem to have a problem with the fact that she has a Hummer which makes us all to believe that she has money. This has nothing to do with this CONTEST. If Bill Gates played the lottery and then won, would he have to give it up because he has more money then others? Answer= NO!
Do you think he got rich because someone just gave it to him? Answer= NO!
He saw an opportunity and worked on it and SOLD the idea to people that had money and now he is one of the richest men in the world!
Also many of you have commented that the person who is having the Hummer Wedding is putting you and all of your ideas down. Personally, I didn't see it this way at all. She didn't say that any of your particular ideas were bad, but she just was trying to SELL her UNIQUE IDEA. And in my opinion she did just that. The CONTEST promotional guidelines state that they are looking for something UNIQUE.
Anyone in sales knows this is a cut throat business. And you have to Sell your product or idea to see results. It also says in the rules that PartyPOP.com can end this CONTEST at their own discretion. Which mean that if everyone keeps complaining about everyone else's stories. They may end up canceling the whole CONTEST all together. Regardless of whether you win or not, AREN'T YOU ALL GETTING MARRIED ANYWAY?????????

I hope all the contestants re-read the rules and guidelines and go in and edit their stories letting Partypop know exactly what type of wedding they are planning. I am sure each idea is unique and special and worth writing about.
No matter how many times a wedding plan has been done, each and everyone is unique and special for that bride and groom.
But, please be very careful not to include your opinion on what others believe is the perfect wedding, it only hurts feelings and causes messages like the previous ones.
Each person that posted has a valid complaint that shouldn't be ignored, thats the purpose of message boards.
I, too, agree it would be a shame if Partypop decided to cancel this contest, what a wonderful gift they are giving and I hope the winner really is worthy of it. From what I read, each of you are.
Good Luck

Then describe it to us as completely and persuasively as you can!
