Wedding Salsa Music Ideas!???
I`m writing from australia... We`re getting married in september and we are hunting down a fabulous salsa for our wedding waltz! we are experienced dancers, so we have `decent` taste, but we are wanting something that has `appropriate` lyrics as neither of us can translate! i would love something in english, but it seems that all the english salsa`s are awful!
The problem is that in australia, we have to order everything from overseas, as shops here stock hardly any latin music and everything they do stock is sooooooo out of date... So i was after some ideas to start my search to find something that hasn`t been played to death, but is still gorgeous and romantic (without being totally soppy!).
Any help would be great!

I don`t know if I can help you or not, but, have you ever heard of "The Gypsy Kings"? They are mostly instrumental, they play Spanish music, and a lot of it is very danceable. They aren`t as popular as they were about 5-10 years ago, though, so they are slightly out of date. They are from Spain, its a very Latin sound. You might want to get a CD and sample some of their music. A lot of the bars and restaurants around here play their stuff.

I really like Elvis Crespo, he has a really nice salsa called ":Tu Sonrisa" , a verse in the song says, "Algo en tu cara me facina, algo en tu cara me da vida, sera tu sonrisa?". Which translates into "Something in your face facinates me, something in your face gives me life, could it be your smile? . Truly, it sounds better in spanish, but it`s really nice, many of his songs are nice and clean!
