Anyone Ever Order From Everlastings Designs??

I was just wondering if anyone has ever ordered glasses from Everlastings Designs... I am worried that I might not recieve my order in time. My wedding is this Saturday and the glasses are supposed to be my favor. I have called and been told that they`ve shipped sseveral times, but still haven`t gottent them. I just want to see if anyone knows of this company and their credibility... If they don`t get here, I have 3 days to find another idea.. PLEASE HELP AND THANKS!!

I am sorry to hear about your troubles. I`ve heard alot about this company and its owner, Melody Rowe since I ordered a pair of shoes for my wedding from her.
Most of the comments have been negative, some have been positive some have been stating that the negative comments are false and because of which, she is sueing the originator of the un-true comments for defamation.
My experience with her started out good. I ordered a beautiful pair of $70 shoes for $30. She said they would be in my hands within 10 bus. Days. They were not! I called to see if she had even shipped them. She said she had not received them yet but said I should have them in another 3 days. I didn`t receive them then either. I even told her I had a fitting coming up and NEEDED to have my shoes so the seamstress could do the hem properly. She said she would get them to me, she didn`t. 1 1/2 months after I placed my order, I spoke w/ her via telephone, she said she shipped them, so I asked for the tracking #. She couldn`t come up with one. Thankfully, she wasn`t lyeing and I did receive them a few days later. However, they were the wrong size!!! I called again and explained the situation. She was very apologetic and promised another pair would be sent immediately. Two weeks later I called again....the shoes were on back-order. They wouldn`t be in until the end of the month. She said I could call Touchups (the manufacturer) and see for myself. I don`t know why she couldn`t have just called and told me as soon as she found out, unless she was lyeing.
Anyway, by this point I wasn`t expecting to get anything from her. But miraculously I received the correct shoe just yesterday. However, I didn`t receive the pre-paid shipping label I requested and she promised...so I could return the incorrect pair. If she doesn`t send it to me I`m NOT sending the other pair back, she probably doesn`t want them anyway b/c I had no choice but to squeeze into the small size for a fitting and my bridal portrait.
So...no, I wouldn`t trust this lady or company. I`m very surprised I got my oder. It was pretty close, after ordering four months in advance I finally received the shoes 26 days before my wedding!

I ordered glasses from her in January, was told I would have them at the beginning of March, in May I still hadn`t received them. I called a lawyer and got a refund. Perhaps you should do the same.

By the way, if you have a LInens N` Things in town (that is where I got my replacement glasses after my encouter with Melody) They sell a dozen champagne flutes for 9.95.

I`ve also been dealing with Melody but in my case I`m waiting on my gown. I was supposed to have it by the 14th and as of now I still don`t. I`m keeping my fingers crossed that I`ll be receiving it soon.

Does this Melody Rowe also go by Erika or work in conjunction with a woman names Erika? I am searching for a dress that at woman located at the number 301-790-1604 says she is a discount gown vendor.

I looked on the Better Business Bureau and searched under the phone number and the name Melody Row came up. They I did a search on her name and found this message board about her.

Any replies on this would be helpful!!! Seems pretty fishy to me!

I do know that Melody sold her business to someone
But the phone etc is the same because she took over some of her clientelle she is apparently getting out of the wedding business, I just recievd my order from her and she said she had a few people she was closing ends with and that she was quiting and she just sold it
A few weeks ago to someone from DBS. Thats is all I know I hope it helps.

I am still dealing with Melody and although she did tell me she is getting out of the business once she completes all her current orders, she didn`t mention actually selling the business.

Don`t waste your time or money with Everlastings. I don`t believe she is quitting the business at all. She is just a big liar. Erika and other names you come up with when trying to get that info on her is probably just ol Melody, up to her old tricks. She just uses new names after ruining one after the other. She is probably just going to use another name because she has to. She has ruined her name and is universally thought of as a rip off artist. By the way, "Concerned", did you get your item? We haven`t heard from you....HHhhmmmm.

Here`s the lowdown... When you get something cheap- you`re going to pay for it one way or another....
I ordered in APRIL, promised to get them in 2 months... After many many delays& excuses & I don`t care how you run your business but you shouldn`t all together neglect your customers. I`m down to 45 days to my wedding... With NO DRESS, NO SHOES, NO TRACKING, NOTHING! She goes by EVERLASTINGS DESIGNS & HEAVENLY ACCENTS out of MARYLAND & has a terrible track record with the BBB. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PERSON!! I wish I would have found this information out before I placed and order with her; 8 months and NO DRESS. Thankfully I had over a year until my wedding. We still haven`t received 100% refund. I had to purchase a new dress at full price and I am still waiting for the rest of the money she owes me. If I would have known all the BS that was in store for me I would have paid triple for my gown rather than use her. She has no idea how to run a business and she is a conartist. I was told so many times that I would have my dress but she could never provide a tracking number. The amount of emails I sent this women was crazy. This was a horrible experience for me and I wouldn`t wish it on anyone.

Well, go to google & search for melody row ; melody rowe ; everlasting designs; heavens accents;heaven accent; etc - she is a con artist. I ordered my dress in april & was promised to have it by the end of the month, NO SHOW, I called & called & it was xon backorder, or one thing or another, and she said she would keep calling- well I didn`t receive phone calls from her unless she used an AT&T CALLING CARD which I thought was weird for a business, however I hoped for my dream dress- she finally said she sent it - with all the bridesmaids dresses I ordered on top of the wedding dress, and shoes, and my veil... And NOTHING, no tracking number, then she kept lying to me that she shipped from some company that didn`t exsist, and she gave me her husbands cell phone as the number for the shipping place- funny that it was the same phone number to call her from back in april ( I write EVERYTHING down) and then, i called her back over & over every three days until the end of august. My seamstress fittings were gone & went because I didn`t have my dress or shoes, and i was freaking out, & ended up contacting the BBB & the state police. Apparently since I found her over the internet, it was considered internet fraud & is taken very seriously as it is a FELONY in MD - oh, btw, the state cop that did visit her house, had an alternate address for her- different that what switchboard.com has & different fromthe one melody gave me, but not far away. After threats of prosecution & with the involved state polic`s help, as well as the atty general ( 4 week backlog there) I finally got 1/2 my money back - oh yeah & 7 DAYS before my wedding, she said she couldn`t delivery it, so she refunded 1/2, and I got the other 1/2 when I contacted the police again & he gave her a phone call. This time I told her i`d only a take a money order. She actually sent it after 1 more week as she "had some trouble at the bank" some nonsense about transferring funds, whatever. This lady is a thief & from what I understand in my extensive background search on her, she has done this to doxens of women, trading her trust for thier money, dragging them on until the statute of limitations runs out so that she doesn`t HAVE to give the money back & if anyone asks for a refund, she hits these boards again, scoping out women that are in need of designer dresses, but do not want to pay the big bucks for them, then takes thier "prepayment only" and sits on it, with empty promises, while she uses the money for paying her bills - for her & her 5 kids. She ALMOST tells the truth& that`s how she gets away with it - so much so that in response to one of my emails online here telling people that she was working with the police to resolve some accusation of her being fraudulent! YEAH! BECAUSE I CALLED THEM - because she broke all 3 contracts she had sent me via email. KEEP ALL RECORDS & EMAILS & SEND THEM TO THE POLICE - THE STATE POLICE IN MD. They`ll help you- they`re very nice & they know her by name. The sentence for internet fraud in MD is only 2.5 years, so I don`t think she cares if she has to refund, but you need to make it clear to her that you have all the time in the world to take it up with the police & the proper authorities ( even if you don`t, make it clear that you`ve already started calling people & you intend to get your money back & screw the dress- you`ll never see it from her. As for touchups- this is a company in my state of NH & when I called -although she said she had placed the order) when I called in aug to see about my shoes, they said she hadn`t placed any orders since april. That`s when i knew for sure that she was lying about everything. I ended up getting a dress off ebay, which was the REAL THING, & I had a great time struggling to get all teh bridesmaids dressed 2 weeks before the wedding & we all ran around last minute for fittings, which was nearly impossible. Too much stress caused by a conartist praying on those that don`t have the money... I want everyone to call the police on her- maybe someone will finally follow up & nail her one of these days. Horrible lady & a horrible experiance right before my wedding - do as others have said & STAY AWAY!

I`m shocked to find this message board this morning and am horrified.
I typed her # 301-790-1604 on Google and this msg board came up.
I order a dress in Oct from Melanie Row at Bridal Elegance with my colleague. Her dress was supposed to arrive in Nov and mine on Dec 1 but we haven`t seen anything yet.
She gave us a couple of execuses
1) her rep sent her the wrong size and she has to get a right size
2) her rep is lying to her that they have shipped the dress to her.
3) her rep is lying that they shipped a dress which isn`t available in the US
4) her mother is seriously ill and she can`t handle my order any more, and so told me she`d give me the full refund.

Now she`s saying that her friend can make a replica of the dress and it`ll be ready in 4-5days.
The replicator`s name is Eurosatic in NY.

I was going to cancel the order and asked for a full refund in 3 working days and if not, I will call the police.
She freaked out and called me right away asking me what`s going on, and that she`s been having a prob being mixed up with someone since last year and her lawyer called Christopher Joliet is working on it.
She also said that her sister in law works at a local Sheriff in MD.

Does this sound familiar to you?

I live overseas and don`t know what to do...
Any information will be appreciated.

GET YOUR MONEY BACK!! I repeat GET YOUR MONEY BACK!! This woman is a scarm artist. I was also duped by her but I was one of the lucky ones that got my refund. When I was dealing with her she was ill and her mother was ill. She will give excuse after excuse after excuse. If you paid using a credit card you can contact them for non receipt for goods. She is not mixed up with anyone she is a scam artist. When I deallt with her she was using Heavenly Accents and before that Everlasting Designs. Once she gets enough bad posts with one company name she just changes the name. Right before I got my money back and I called her yet again, the company name on her answering maching was Bridal Elegance.

Yes- your bridal gown will be here in 4 weeks! Oh, I had a baby, oh my baby is ill & I have been closed- she told me she was closing her business in two weeks PERMANENTLY in two WEEKS then I freaked & said I wanted my refund overnight! Yeah this was FIVE MONTHS LATER & I finally got my refund, only after contacting the police - the STATE POLICE. They`re very interested in her as INTERNET FRAUD is very seriously taken by the state police. You should contact Sgt. Steve Ganley at 301 739 2101. Do this NOW, so that she knows you`re serious & actually DOES give you the refund. Another fun thing she did was kept giving me "tracking numbers" from the USPS priority mail slips you get a tthe post office- only NONE of these that she gave me were active packages being shipped. THat was funny. Then she gave me the name of some shipping company- AMYLEE`S or AMILEE`s SHIPPING, which HAHA WHEN I CALLED THE POLICE DEPT & INFORMATION, THey said they get the name & phone number of any new business in thier records within 3 DAYS of getting a phone # & address & the poilice & information both said they didnt` see any place, with any spelling of the name on FLORIDA STREET in BALTIMORE OR ANYWHERE in The STATE of MD. The tracking numbers she said she sent UPS GROUND, & the numbers she gave me were fraudulent & had nothing to do with ups! or usps, or fedex, or airborne ( all the excuses, OH IT MUST HAVE BEEN SENT VIA ANOTHER CARRIER) - whatever she just lies & lies. This is when I knew for sure that her stories weren`t adding up. If you paid by credit card, do a CHARGE BACK IMMEDIATELY - you only have a set number of days to do this. She gave me her address as 30 GARLINGER AVE , HAGERSTOWN, MARYLAND 21740, with the phone number of 301-790-1604 & YES- she keeps changing the name of her company- while I knew her it was 3 names,

Mary, You need to contact the state police - she keeps doing this to everyone & KEEPS GETTING AWAY WITH IT! You should POST ALL THE INFO YOU HAVE ON HER- there are other girls that do searches for her & her nameS that she goes by & she changes the name on her answering machine OFTEN to reflect a new company. WHen I called her, she changed the name of her company 3 times between APRIL & SEPT. HIgh turnover. The people after her have an incorrect address for her too. She has her mail sent to a slightly different address than where she actually lives. FUNNY HUH? Yeah- I wouldn`t trust her, she has stolen from so many girls hopeful they can get a dream for less.... PLEASE DO SOMETHING so she doesn`t take advantage of you or others! WE NEED TO KEEP HER IN LINE! MAYBE FINALLY THE POLICE WILL GET ENOUGH EVIDENCE TOGETHER TO GET THIS SCAMER DONE WITH - BUT THEY NEED YOUR HELP!

My mom just received her dresses from Melody and they are HORRIBLE. The wedding is scheduled for tomorrow, and now we have NO TIME to do anything else about it. I am in the middle of the same thing with her. I ordered my dress more than two months ago and she is giving me the run-around about getting my money back to me. I am just glad to know that I am not the only one that she did this to!

Cannot believe she is still doing this to other people.

A friend of mine and I went thru the same ordeal and cannot even tell you how stressful it was.
I managed to find a second hand dress a couple of weeks before the wedding.

I was fully reimbursed by my credit card company but have been in contact with Attoney General in MD as well.

Instead of dealing with her on your own, it is wise to contact Attoney General in MD.

They are finally going to prosecute this woman after several years of her scamming. She is already paying restitution for her crimes and was ordered not to do anymore business.
