This is to Beverly C. I hope and pray that you do not win the contest. In fact, as an outsider, I will do everything in my power to make sure you are not the one to win. Do you want to know why? You are so full of yourself it makes me sick. I read through the stories, and I voted appropriately, and believe me you were last. Your wedding doesnt sound unique or fun or exciting. Yep, in fact I think its stupid. How do you like how that feels? These girls have been planning their weddings for months, sometimes years, and you disregard their moments of bliss. What makes you think you are so high and mighty, and that your wedding is perfect, and theirs are just remixes of the same old themes? So let this be a blow to your ego. Girls, I wish you all the best of luck, of course ruling out the above name. Oh and PartyPop, I said I would do everything in my power to stop Beverly C. but then again I think this contest is rigged, so whats the point you ask? Well on the offset, you might be real. Maybe, there is a slim chance. So why not try. But the next time you have a contest like this, I suggest you have the rules in strict writing that will not be changed.

I found this site quite by accident. I was looking to plan a birthday party, and of course with the name PartyPop it came up in the query. So then I got hooked in by the add that there was a contest for someone to win a free wedding, and that you had to read the stories and vote on them. So I read through the stories. Each and every one of them, and there are some very beautiful stories there. I came to the message board just to see what type of people frequented this site. There are tons of postings about the unfairness of the contest. So I thought I would do some investigating. And sure enough, they are right. It doesnt matter how you vote for someone, you can come back two seconds later and that lady with the hummer story will have gained 20 points (an exaggeration I know, but a lot of points). I dont know if the administrators read her story, but if they have I say they are the most horrible and immoral people alive. How could you let someone make a mockery out of everybody elses stories? Is that fair to hurt them like that? So for those souls who were strong enough to stick up for what you believe in, I agree with you. Partypop, you can bet you wont be getting rave reviews from my mouth, and as materialistic as you are for members, word of mouth is still the best method for promoting yourself. You arent going to find that from me, and for the rest of you, I hope you do the same.

Ugh.....You're the BEST!!!!!!
I just read that story and I could not believe that someone could be that vicious. She obviously is not
hurting for money to pay for her wedding. Why don't she take up donations from her hummer owning
friends. (sorry, I'm still a little upset about that story).
It's wonderful to know that someone (outside of the loop) has read every story and knows where
"most of us" are coming from..........You'll be the first on the "invite" list.......

I totally agree with Ugh, Lily, and Diane.... Why on earth would someone who own's a hummer need money for a wedding??
It just befudles me, This wedding money alone would be more than I make working in 2 years, and would be enough
for my and my future wife to live on for quite a while.
I will never be able to afford a hummer, so perhaps they should modify the rules, if you can afford a hummer, you are not allowed
in these contests......but of course, they are all fixed so......I guess that really doesn't matter

You took the words right out of my mouth. I came in to vote for my friend and she told me about the scoring and about this hummer story, I thought she was pulling my leg. Well, she wasn't and neither are you guys.

As a new skeptic of this site, they really need to work on their PR, if they dont have funds now wait until after word of mouth gets out about this.

I want to make this very clear, I am not a contestant in this so called contest and I glad I'm not after reading this post. How terrible that you all have had a very unpleasant experience entering a contest. I would love my friend to win, and she would be very willing to share the winnings. All Beverly would do with them is add on to their hummer. I just can't imagine a hummer wedding, how silly, being among all that polution from the exhust of all those hummers. I guess she will be dressed in camo garb from "4x4's Are US". Oh well, have a wonderful wedding Beverly and good luck getting that exhust smell out of your hair.

Its sounds more like concerns and people wanting a better explaination of what is happening with the scores.
I think you should re-read some of the post.
Its too bad more companies don't use a message board forum to see what their customers are thinking.

So I am not exactly crying over a lost dream wedding. I am however stating concerns.
The more you criticize each other the worse this is going to get. You are doing exactly what Beverly C. did in her story, only you are doing it in the forum.
