There is a person that has their story up in the contest that is calling it "A Humdinger of a Wedding". I am sorry but if you can afford a hummer then why the heck do you need $50000 for your wedding? There are people that honestly need the help in this and are not trying to make this a media event, but truly a wedding that they would not be able to have otherwise. I have read every single one of these stories and it makes me sad to see that the winner looks like it will be a person that does not NEED this money.

WOW
I think there are some strong opinions here!
I wonder just how many others feel this way, thought it was only me. I thought I was being just alittle critical and selfish cause I know who I want to win, but I guess not.
I, too, agree

As if any of us have "ordinary weddings"
Each couple is unique and so are their wedding dreams. How dare someone make us feel like we are "ordinary" and unimagitive. If your dream was to be married in an old chicken barn with shit all around your feet, than who is she to say its "ordinary"?
Come down off your "hummer" and get into the real world!
Best of luck to all you other contestants
