We Had To Change The Date

My Fiance and I had planned to get married in the spring using a butterfly theme and silver, ivory and lavender as our colors. Unfortunately we had to postpone the wedding to very late summer. Is it appropriate to use the same theme and colors? We had already purchased the cake topper, unity set, and many, many more items for the previous date and cannot really afford to buy it all over again.

I don`t see why you should change the butterfly theme at all. It`s your wedding you can have whatever you want. Good luck.

I think its fine to use the same colors....however, my opinion is that silver and ivory don`t go together that well. I would pair silver with white. Or ivory with gold. Lavendar goes with anything.

Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe they don`t work for you, but I found a ton of ivory accessories with silver accents. My dress is ivory and my ring is platnium. Gold and white would never work at all. It`s not a deep, creamy ivory..more of an off white and it works pretty well.
