Don`t post the scores!!!
By posting each person's scores, Partypop is fostering a competitive environment among the contestants. People see who is in the lead and use this as an opportunity to downgrade those stories.
I think you should at least take that column down and let people read whichever stories they want and vote on them without knowing who is in the lead.

I think they should let us see the scores. It was their decision to do the contest this way. It is interesting to see how unethical this company is. The scoring system portrays this. I have not been the first one to notice that the scoring system does not work properly.

Yes, I too noticed that the scoring does not work properly on the site. You can rate someone a 10 and their score does not budge. It's just a terrible system all around. Hear that Partypop???

I don't think that some people here have taken math in school! The score is based on averages...
For example: If there are a hundred votes with a score of "9" and then a couple of people vote a "1", the overall average is still "9". The one low score would not have an effect since so many people have been voting. So in other words the system works, but some of the people who are complaining just don't have common sense.

It’s obvious to me that Valerie is a bad sport. Probably because her score is so low! Don’t presume to tell me how to follow up! If anything, Valerie should follow her own advice…

I just hope some people get some things straight before they are assuming things. There must be TWO
Valerie's posting on the message board. I never posted anything reguarding "don't post the scores" and
I hope people weren't voting me down because of someone else's message, because my score did drop and your refferal to that makes me understand why. Luckily I read the messages on this board, or I
would never have known, but hopefully I have enough supporters behind me to redeem myself.
I am the only Valerie listed under the stories, but the last message I posted on the board was, THIS IS ONLY A CONTEST. So the poor sport here is anyone that assumed that was me posting about the scores, and voted my story down. It's really a shame that this contest has resorted to this type of bashing, and since those who voted me down can't take back their votes, I fee like an innocent victim that deserves an appology.
And to the other Valerie, please use your last initial or something so people don't hold me responsible for your comments. Thank-you.
