Bat Mitzvah theme

Daughter's name is Pamela and she wants a theme around her name. She wants Princess Pamela and I think it is a bit much. She figure skates, skiies, plays tennis, soccer and softball. She loves to shop, hang with friends, talk. What is a mother to do about the theme????

When my daughter became bat mitzvah I gave her a folder and told her to plan her party. Ideas, where to get them, even prices,
She worked hard on that for 2 months and made endless phone calls.
She came with better ideas than I ever thought. Those girls capable to a lot and they enjoy the party much more because they planned it.

Would love to have my daughter more involved. I also live in NYC. She wants to do Princess Pamela. Wow, she is a princess but does she have to advertise it.
