Jessica Simpson`s Wedding Dress

Why is everyone so obsessed with jessica simpson`s dress..... It didn`t look that great to me, there are lot more beautiful dresses out there, for brides and bridesmaids. Try having your own wedding not a knock off of someone elses...... Its YOUR day remember??

Amen, Tanya! It`s so aggravating to come to this board and see all the threads about Jessica Simpson`s dress, bouquet, hair, and everything else of hers that brides seem to think they need.
From the few pictures I`ve seen, her wedding didn`t look all that remarkable. Expensive, yes, but totally generic and cookie-cutter. Come on, brides, you can be more creative than Jessica!

I know that it was a Vera Wang Orignial dress - this may have been a one of a kind dress made specifically for Jessica Simpson - why not? They have the money. The only way to find out is to call Vera Wang directly and ask them. Good Luck!!

I think that Jessica Simpson`s dress was beautiful and i think that if you are trying to have your wedding like hers then go ahead. I thought they did an excellant job doing her wedding up and good luck finding her dress.

Jessica`s dress was gorgeous. It was a one of kind made by Vera Wang. I`m getting married in less then 3 weeks and I`m also having a custom made Vera Wang...When I met with Mrs. Wang in her portfolio was the pic of Jessica`s dress. It`s def. Gorgeous.

Let me remind you all that some people have different taste than others. Thank goodness! I personally loved Jessica Simpsons dress and thought it looked amazing on her. I bet there are a lot of people who dont agree with myself and others, thats cool, everyone has their own opinion. But if it isnt a subject you`re interested in then pass it by, you dont have to post rude comments to cut someone down. Your wedding day is all about what YOU want, who cares if you steal an idea from someone else if its what YOU want. Its cool to have your own opinions but dont try to inflict them onto someone else. I have no trouble with jessica simpson being your idol.... But to try and copy everything from her wedding is just a tad bit crazy. I love gwen stefani, but i`m not on here trying to get a replica of her dress.

This message is for katie really - reading your messages really concerns me. I have to admit, I found this website when I was looking at Jessica Simpson`s hairstyles, and if you want to be just like her that`s fine - there are far worse people you could have as your role models!! But Jessica didn`t get where she is today by copying everyone else, and maybe it`s being an individual that makes you stand out in the crowd like she does. Wear the stuff you choose, be confident in your own taste and I`m sure people will respect and admire you the way they do her. That way, they`ll be admiring YOU, not a Jessica replica. As for jumping to her defense, other people aren`t trying to criticise her, just trying to give you this very same advice. That TV show is all about promoting Jessica as an artist, and I`m sure MTV edit it so they only show her good days! Just be aware that she`s a stranger - there is probably a lot about Jessica you don`t know, and maybe some stuff you wouldn`t like if you did. And for the rest of you, good luck with your weddings.
