Wedding contest

I was reading through your wedding stories and was touched by many that were written. Knowing Keri Hettwer and Paul Johnson I can attest that they really need to win the grand prize. I know as a family we could all pull our many talents together and make a beautiful wedding on little or nothing but I don't know how we would get the families together for the ceremony. Knowing the two they will not get married without both families present. If there were any two people in the world that I know in my heart have a long and happy future together it's these two. This marriage would not be out of neccessity or convenience but out of pure love and commitment to one another. I was there when the proposal was spoken Christmas morning..We all cried...tears of joy knowing it was a joining of two people with kindred hearts which could only have been made in heaven.

Hi, I am facing real dilemmas. Like every other woman, I have dreamed of the perfect wedding day my whole life. As it becomes more of a reality (engaged only a few months ago) the further the dream gets from reality. My first obstacle is to get both families involved. My family lives in Vermont. The groom, his family and myself all live in Las Vegas. How will I get my family involved. My family is large and very close. There are many people I want with me on that special day, but no way to get them here.
Next the groom and myself have a two year od, and we face the struggles of a new family, trying to make it. This means living paycheck to paycheck, or bill to bill. Keeping all our bills current is a struggle. How am I supposed to budget a wedding, a reception, and all its cosly details.
I`m sure there are ways to overcome these factors, but not without sacrficing the sacred dream. Can you help?
