I`d recommend having "An Adult Affair" printed on your invitations in a corner. Also, on your reception card I`d have the same verse printed. Your guests should get the point.

Normally, guests should understand who is invited and who isn`t simply by the names on the innver envelope. I found out at my wedding that not all people know that when their children`s names are listed that they are NOT invited. If I could do it again, I`d have "An Adult Affair" printed on the reception card.

Good luck and best wishes to you!

I`m listing it as an adult reception but I would go with an adult affair if you would prefer not to have children at the church either. I chose just an adult reception to make things a little easier on those with children. If they don`t have to find a sitter all day it may make it easier for them to be at both functions.
