Advice Please...
I do not have a Father, and am getting married next year... There will be a Groom-Mom dance... And I know my Mom will feel left out. What can I do, for my Mom, to show her my appreciation? Any ideas? I thought of presenting a bouquet & poem, but I wish there was something better... If I could sing, I`d sing to her, but I don`t wanna shatter windows. Gimme ideas!!

Nothing says you can not dance with your mom. I will be walked down the aisle by my mother and will dance with her as well, instead of the mother/groom dance & the father/daughter dance we will have one song where we will both dance with our mother. Many mothers have endured raising their children alone and they deserve to be honored for that.

Why not allow her to read her favorite poem during the ceremony? Or at the reception, you could make a champagne toast to your mother.

My father passed away when I was 14. My mother is walking me down the aisle and I will have a dance with my mother while my groom dances with his mother. I think it`s perfect.

Have your daughter carry your rings tied with ribbon on a beautiful pillow.
As for your mom, ask someone you know that can sing and have them sing a song that reminds you of her and have someone announce this is for her.
