Military Questions
Does any one know where I can find a cake top that has the groom dressed in Army dress blues. Also, I really like the idea of having the saber/sword ceremony at the end of the wedding ceremony but there aren`t enough military people in my wedding party. Are there volunteer groups of like retired military that do these ceremonies?

I did a search and found a bunch of sites that offer the groom in dress blues, just type in military cake toppers. I am looking for one with the BRIDE in an Air Force uniform, yeah right. I am going to have to have it special made.
AS far as the sword ceremony goes, there is another post on here, scroll down a little and there is a ton of military wedding info on it and there is a section about the sword/sabre ceremony. I found the info last night, copied and pasted it, in sections as it was too big for one post for another military bride to be.
Am I the only bride in the military?

Search military cake toppers, and you should find one. My husband is in the Navy and we found quite a few under that search. Good luck.

I am in the Army and getting married pretty soon. As far as the saber team goes, usually the person in the military bribes some friends with free beer and gets them to show up for the wedding. I have never seen a saber team whoh was comprised of all wedding guests but it could happen.

Thanks for your help. The only problem with enticing them to do it with beer is that the wedding is in Colorado and he`s stationed in Georgia so all the military people we know (except the ones in the wedding party) will be down there.

Cantact Fort Carson in Colorado Springs and see if you can talk some of them into helping, if not for beer then a saber team usually charges about $50 a person to do something like that, thats if they don`t have to drive a long way. Best of luck to you...
