Winter/ Christmas Weddings
For those of you getting married in the winter or around Christmas, check your local Big/Odd Lots. I was in there today, though of all the inexpensive stores this one is my least favorite, and they had Christmas stuff out already! Can you believe that, it is only May and Christmas stuff was filling the aisles!

I like Big Lots. They have tons of stuff. I do my holiday shopping there, and even purchase gifts there.

I did like them until they got an attitude with me about using my FH debit card, which my name is on the account. My card got demagnatized and I was waiting for a new one. They REFUSED, even after calling the bank and verifying all the information, to allow me to use his.
They do have some cute stuff for cheap!
To the one looking for ideas, shop around and see what is out, like Big Lots has Christmas stuff out already, go there and see what they have available, I am sure you can find a lot of neat stuff and will be able to tie it together.

I stood up in a Christmas/winter wedding last December. Actually you save some money on decorations and flowers. They had a Lutheran service and the church was decorated beautifully, including a hugh Christmas tree just to the side of the alter. The reception hall also had a decorated tree, and decorated stairways that the photographer took advantage of, and the pics look great!

Big lots is a really great store, I bought a chair there about 3 hours ago. If your wedding is during the Christmas 2005 year, after christmas sales on decorations is outrageous there. I am having a chrismas wedding and I bought a wedding arch there for $ 5 bux!, granted I need to decorate it, but it is still a steal. They have green and white.

I am getting married in the fall. Friday, October 13, 2006! I can`t wait, it seems so far away but we have so much to do before getting married besides we want to make sure all of our family members are returned safely from Iraq, can`t have a wedding with out the best man!

Ohio, unfortunately. I really hate this place but my family is here. Oh well, a few more months and I will be enjoying Texas for 12 weeks and 4 days ( AIR FORCE basic and tech school!)
