I agree about Dundee, it`s beautiful there. But the castle...if you`re talking about the one that`s near Baddeck, it`s quite expensive. While I don`t know this from personal experience, I`ve also heard that this particular place is not the most friendly spot to visit. There are many small inns and such that do a far better job of serving Cape Breton hospitality.

What about the Glenora Distillery? That`s also a gorgeous location if you`re looking at Cape Breton. Also costly, but worth it. :)
